We are very thankful that you have taken interest in what God is doing here at Green Valley Baptist Church.  We want you to feel welcomed and find it easy to get plugged in to the life and ministries of this local body of believers.  Our staff, alongside a host of volunteers, are here to get to know you as you get to know us and understand God’s purpose for bringing you to visit this family of faith.  We know that God desires for each born again believer to be the part of the body of Christ that He calls them to, and it is our prayer that you will find that place here.

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27 

 

“Christ is also the head of the church, which is His body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So He is first in everything.” Colossians 1:18 

 

Our purpose is two fold.  Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost, and we seek to carry the gospel to the lost in our community, state, nation and around the world.  In addition, we are purposeful in training and equipping Christians to be able to carry out the Great Commission.  We want to meet you where you are and help you to grow to look more and more like Christ each day.  We do that by discipling believers to study the Word of God for the purpose of the Word transforming their lives.  It is our desire to win the lost and equip them as disciples so they too will go out and live a life of purpose for the Kingdom of God.  

 

We are thankful that you found us and trust that if God leads you to this family of faith, then you will find your place to serve in the Body of Christ.  May we as Christians come together in unity to fulfill our calling of growing the Kingdom until we go home or He comes again.

 

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.
